As part of my practice I have decided to do a Mindfulness walk in the botanics each weekday lunchtime. I have been doing it for a few weeks already and enjoy it very much and would like to share it with others. I’d like to invite anyone who wants to join me to come along and walk slowly, in mindful silence for twenty minutes. Continue reading

Facilitators Retreat to be held in September 2013
Despite not quite reaching spring as yet, we’re looking ahead to autumn time and a Facilitators Retreat to be held 6 – 8 September 2013 at Kinnoull Monastery, near Perth.
Murray Corke will be coming north to guide and support the weekend offering us the opportunity to deepen our practice for our local sanghas; gaining greater confidence and ease in the role of facilitators.
The retreat is aimed not just at those who currently facilitate, but also to those with an interest in developing their skills and confidence in facilitation in the Sangha context.
Full price £125, limited bursaries £95
If you are interested, please note the date in your diary.
Booking info will be posted on the website in due course.

Christmas Holidays 2012
Dear Friends
We gather as usual this coming Thursday (20th December) and then take a break of two weeks over the holiday period coming together again on Thursday 10th January.
I believe it may be possible to be with Thay and Plum Village on ‘livestream’ for Thay’s Dharma talks on both Christmas and New Year’s Eves which take place at 3.00pm. I hope it works – http://vimeo.com/plumvillage
A peaceful and joyful holiday to all Geese.
