Wake Up Edinburgh is a Sangha for practitioners in their 20s and 30s (ages 18 to 39). Alongside nurturing and growing our spiritual practice in the Plum Village tradition, our community regularly gathers for potlucks, picnics, hiking, creative activities and social events. Come join us!

Practice Meetings
We meet every Tuesday from 6:30-8:30pm at the Salisbury Centre (Address: Salisbury Rd, Edinburgh, EH16 5AB, UK). Our practice includes drinking tea in community, meditation, dharma sharing, and listening to dharma talks and teachings. We often enjoy singing, and always enjoy laughing.
We welcome dana — the practice of giving in Buddhism — to maintain the running costs of the space.

“We want to help our world which is overloaded with intolerance, discrimination, craving, anger and despair. Seeing the environmental degradation caused by our society, we want to live in such a way that our planet Earth can survive for a long time. Practicing mindfulness, concentration and insight, enables us to cultivate tolerance, non-discrimination, understanding and compassion in ourselves and the world.”
