This Sunday! Mindful Peace Walk in Princes Street Gardens
Sunday 4th August at 9am – 10.15am
Meeting beside Henderson’s Café by St John’s Church
This silent walking meditation will be led by members of the Edinburgh Sangha of the Community of Interbeing, who follow the practice of Zen Buddhist Master Thich Nhat Hanh.
Before the walk begins there will be a brief introduction to mindful walking as meditation practice. Children are welcome when accompanied by adults.

As part of my practice I have decided to do a Mindfulness walk in the botanics each weekday lunchtime. I have been doing it for a few weeks already and enjoy it very much and would like to share it with others. Facilitators Retreat to be held in September 2013
Despite not quite reaching spring as yet, we’re looking ahead to autumn time and a Facilitators Retreat to be held 6 – 8 September 2013 at Kinnoull Monastery, near Perth.
Murray Corke will be coming north to guide and support the weekend offering us the opportunity to deepen our practice for our local sanghas; gaining greater confidence and ease in the role of facilitators.
The retreat is aimed not just at those who currently facilitate, but also to those with an interest in developing their skills and confidence in facilitation in the Sangha context.
Full price £125, limited bursaries £95
